About Niamh Digan
As an accredited member of the IACP, IGC, MTAI and Teaching Council, I adhere to the code of ethics of these professional bodies.
I offer online and in-person appointments to adults and older adolescents seeking confidential counselling, psychotherapy and mindfulness-based supports to address a wide range of issues.
I believe passionately in the importance of a client-centred approach to therapy. I understand that attending therapy for the first time can seem quite daunting so your first session is important. It is an opportunity for you to decide if your therapist is the right fit for you. It’s also a chance to discuss what you’d like to get from your therapy sessions. I use an eclectic approach as outlined above in order to address your specific needs.
I also offer the internationally recognised MBSR/MBCT (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction/Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) course to adults in small groups or on an individual basis. This course has been scientifically and clinically researched and tested over the past forty years. Many health insurance providers contribute towards the cost of attending this 8-week course.
Feel free to contact me to book an initial consultation. I look forward to meeting you.
