About Laura Neme
I am a Clinical Psychologist graduated from The National University of Argentina. I also hold a Master of Science in Mindfulness-Based Research and Practice from Bangor University Wales, UK. My experience is reflected in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Groups which I have facilitated in different settings.
I have been working as a Clinical Psychologist in Ireland since 2012, providing psychological interventions and assessments to clients with a broad range of issues, such as anxiety disorders, stress, depression, ADD & ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, eating disorders, and alcohol and substance misuse.
With a robust background in working with adults and adolescents, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques with a Mindfulness-based approach, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
Previous roles in adult mental health at the Central Mental Hospital, Dundrum; in intellectual disabilities at Saint John of God Kildare Services; and Beechpark Services for Children with Autism in Stillorgan, have all contributed to my experience.
As a proactive member of The Psychological Society Of Ireland, I founded the Private Practice Interest Group within PSI and have also contributed as a Council Member from 2019-2022.
My commitment to the therapeutic power of mindfulness extends beyond my clinical work, advocating for its integration into everyday life to cultivate holistic well-being
