As a therapist, I believe that personal goals can be achieved through therapeutic changes by providing the clients with the environment to engage in a collaborative relationship where they feel both safe and secure and can openly express their concerns. Through this process I help clients to explore their past and present with the aim of helping them to gain an understanding of and develop awareness about roadblocks that prevent them from achieving their goals.

My own experience as an immigrant to Ireland for over twenty five years, provided me with a unique opportunity to work as a multicultural therapist. As a result I gained an accumulative experience working with clients from different cultural background, especially with clients from African, Arab and Muslim clients dealing with identity and integration issues. In order to facilitate this, I use both Arabic and English Language depending on the client’s preference.
