I am an accredited Addiction Counsellor with Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (ACI). I work on a daily basis with individuals overcoming substance use dependence. To see individuals in recovery, which can in turn help families to recover is my greatest joy.

I have almost 25 years experience, professionally and voluntary, assisting people through their recovery journey. ‘Change’ can and does happen when people are ready and the therapeutic connection is established.

I worked in the Employee Assistance Program of a large organisation throughout Ireland for three years. Dependence on substances and Mental Health (MH) were the two main areas I dealt with during this time. I have extensive experience facilitating Aftercare groups for people with substance use disorder. I deliver Mental Health courses for St John of God Hospital for almost a decade, covering topics such as, depression, anxiety, psychosis and substance use.
